What a credit history is and why it matters
Every payment is recorded: a good history makes the next loan easier, late payments make it harder.

A credit history is the record of the loans you have taken and how you repaid them. It is kept by the credit bureau, and banks and microfinance organizations look at it when they review a new application.
Paying on time improves your history and makes the next loan easier to get. Late payments are recorded too: they make borrowing harder not only with us but with other banks and lenders as well.
When a payment is late, the debt grows with a penalty. The penalty and the other terms are shown openly on the clients page. After a long delay the debt may be collected by force and property and accounts may be seized.
If you have trouble paying, do not wait: call us or come to the office. Raising a problem early makes it easier to solve.
You can check your own credit history through the credit bureau (KATM). It also shows whether a loan has been taken in your name without your knowledge.
