If the borrower and the guarantor both receive an official salary — up to 22 million UZS for up to 24 months.

What loans are not given for

Under our credit policy, loans are not given for the following purposes.

7Trade in wild animals and plants listed in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), or in goods made from them.
8Producing and selling radioactive materials without state permission, except for medical equipment.
9Producing, trading or using asbestos fibres.
10Producing and selling goods that contain polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
11Producing, selling, storing or transporting goods with a high content of chemicals, or commercial production of chemically hazardous products, except those approved under international standards.
12Producing or trading pharmaceuticals banned by the international community.
13Producing or trading pesticides or internationally banned herbicides.
14Producing or trading internationally banned ozone-depleting substances.
15Other activities banned by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

What to know before you borrow

A loan is an obligation. Not repaying it on time creates a financial risk.

If a payment is late or missed

The debt grows: overdue principal is charged a penalty of 1% a day (for up to 30 days).
If loan payments are not made on time, the debt is collected compulsorily through the courts or on the basis of a notary's writ of execution. Recovery is then levied on the pledged property, which may be sold in accordance with applicable law to repay the debt.
Your property and bank accounts may be seized.
Your credit history gets worse, making it hard to borrow from other banks and lenders too.
Your travel abroad may be temporarily restricted.
Guarantors and pledgers are liable for the debt too. Keep this in mind before becoming a guarantor.
